How Bidvana scores condition
Four facets, scored by the person who held the unit: how it looks, whether it works, what is in the box and how it is packed. There is no overall grade above them, because the four scores are the condition.
If we described the condition inaccurately or missed something during inspection, return it within 3 days of delivery for a full refund. Final-sale items are marked clearly.
The four facets we score
One overall word is a summary, and a summary hides things. Each unit is scored on these four facets separately, and the listing shows every one of them.
Cosmetic
How it looks and smells: marks, scuffs, dents, cracks, stains, odor.
Function
Whether it works, when a technician powered it on.
Completeness
Whether everything that belongs in the box is there.
Packaging
The original box or a plain one, and whether the contents sit in their packing or loose.
Each facet is scored on its own five words. The inspector picks the word, not a number, and these are the words they pick from.
| Score | Cosmetic | Function | Completeness | Packaging |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | No marks | Fully works | Everything present | Original box, factory packed |
| 4 | Faint marks | Works, minor quirk | Missing a trivial item | Original box, repacked well |
| 3 | Visible wear or light staining | Partial function | Missing a minor item | Original box, loose inside |
| 2 | Heavy wear, stain or odor | Major fault | Missing a major item | Plain box, packed well |
| 1 | Damaged, cracked or permanent odor | Dead | Missing a core part | Loose in a plain box |
A facet nobody could judge is left unscored rather than guessed at: the listing reads Not graded for that facet. Nothing is assumed in our favor, so a unit nobody powered on reads Not graded on Function, never as working.
What the Inspected mark means
There are no inspection tiers. A unit either went through the bench or it did not. When it did, a technician checked function and completeness, scored the four facets, photographed the unit and published the report on the listing.
Photo evidence
At least one photo of the actual unit, captioned with what it shows and published in full on the product page.
Completeness check
The box, the manuals and the accessories are recorded as we found them, not as the manifest claims.
Human inspection
A technician powers the unit on, works through the checks and records the condition of this exact item.
The report, published
Every inspected unit carries its report on the listing: the four scores, the photos behind them and the inspector notes.
Items without the mark are not mystery boxes. They carry the assessment from the supplier's manifest and what our team saw at receiving, and the listing says so in place of a report.
The condition guarantee
If the item is not as described, it is on us. Contact us within 3 days of delivery to arrange a return for a full refund. This covers inaccurate condition descriptions or inspection reports, not changes of mind.
A unit with a major fault, a crack or a missing core part is sold final sale, and it is marked Final sale on the product page and at checkout.
Read the condition on any listing
Every listing shows the item's cosmetic condition, function, completeness and packaging, with inspection notes explaining what we found.
